
Preface
In order to expand the vocational education cooperation with the countries along the routes and implement the requirements of program “outputting excellent vocational education results abroad and sharing with the world” which is launched and carried out by Tianjin, as a form of education which is most closely connected with manufacturing, vocational education is playing a decisive role. According to the cooperation intention for jointly building “Luban Workshop”, the first batch of Indian training teachers in China attended “India·Luban Workshop EPIP Teachers Training Class” and carried out one-month teachers training. “Luban Workshop” established in India trains talents who have technical skills and are badly needed by Indian enterprises and local Chinese enterprises, realizing high-quality resource sharing. The research group compiles the teaching material Industrial Robot Application Technology in order to cooperate with the theory and practical teaching of “Luban Workshop” in India, carry out exchange and cooperation, improve the international influence of Chinese vocational education, innovate international cooperation mode of vocational colleges and output the excellent resources of vocational education in China.
This teaching material, in combination with the application of the technologies of programmable controller and industrial robot in industrial robot system, is task-oriented by means of project teaching, with novelty contents, step by step, tries to explain the profound in simple terms, organically combines knowledge and ability, pays attention to cultivating students’ engineering application ability and the ability to solve practical problems on the site, thus meeting the requirements for cultivation of higher vocational students. Project I is the cognition to electrical control system, mainly focuses on the learning of hardware connection mode of programmable controller, basic use of GX Work2 programming software, basic setting of D700 frequency converter and analog quantity control foundation; it takes THMSRB-3 practical training platform as the teaching carrier for practical training. Project Ⅱ is industrial robot technology application, mainly focuses on the learning of cognition to industrial robot system, correct use of demonstrator and RT ToolBox2 programming software; it takes Mitsubishi industrial robot as the teaching carrier for skill training.
The chief editor of this book is Yuan Hailiang from Tianjin Vocational College of Mechanics and Electricity, and the subeditors include Yu Lei, Shao Shuai and Wang Bing. Project One (Introduction of Electrical Control System) is written by Yu Lei and Wang Bing; Project Two (Application of Industrial Robot Technology) is written by Yuan Hailiang and Shao Shuai; Yuan Hailiang is responsible for final compilation and editing of the whole book.
Due to the limited knowledge of the authors, there might be some flaws and deficiencies in this book. Please do not hesitate to bring forward corrective suggestions.
