On Residence of Natural Sight

Eyes are the window of the mind;

Blind people fear travelling most.

In dark night all the year round,

All life they yearn for the light.

Homer was born in the west;

Zuo Qiuming grew in the east.

Among blind men are many sages;

Far from wrangle their hearts are clear.

Louis Braille, the blind French man,

Blind language follows his invention.

Dots rise and fall on paper, twinkling

Like numerous stars in the night sky.

Laser printer on both sides prints,

Creating thin, light-weight books.

High-power magnifying reading glass

Transforms thin lines into big shapes.

Intelligent reading-aids speaks loud,

When words or sentences are keyed in.

Computers can type blind language;

Thoughts fly up the sky to outer space.

Blind routes are laid in the city streets;

Pedestrian crosses drone the pass signal.

Surgery removes the senile cataract;

Instantly the patient restores his sight.

Eye cornea banks are constructed;

Big Love encourages people’s donation.

In the long history of special education,

Schools for the blind are its foremost mission.

Libraries of blind-language books rise

Like bamboo shoots after the spring rain.

I invite you, my friend, to play a tune

For natural sight that goes with brightness.

Schools for the blind are its foremost mission.

Libraries of blind-language books rise

Like bamboo shoots after the spring rain.

I invite you, my friend, to play a tune

For natural sight that goes with brightness.
