R Limitations

Community blogs and forums, as well as package authors and contributors, are debating over the long list of R limitations the language has. Many are murky and some are based solemnly on a particular group of user experience, but the following limitations can be agreed upon:

• Performance issues
• Memory limitations
• Security aspects
• Language syntax
